I am way too stupid to follow the actual science behind this, but apparently the Planck Telescope has picked up energy distortions that can only be explained by the gravitational pull of other universes.

This is the first "proof" that multiverses may exist.

Ponder on that this morning, fellow and sister primates: Everything you think is important is just neurotransmitters in your monkey brain. The life forms in those other multiverses, spun from silicon, phosphorus, boron and other elements as yet undiscovered, unbound by the constraints of DNA, RNA and amino acids, don't give a fuck about your Twitter feed.

I saw that and note that there are two other possible explanations, but the multiverse meme is very popular right now, so I'll go with that and enjoy.

What are the other explanations? Serious question.

Dark matter bending energy, emission/absorption of either dark matter or some other unknown matter(antimatter), distorted gravitational lensing from multiple sources, or simply bad data collection. We'll have to wait for the peer reviewed papers to come out. Remember that the CERN did not find the Higgs-Boson, they just found an acceptable(for them) statistical probability that it might exist. Note that CERN discovered this when their funding was under review.

perhaps they dont care, but why should they? just like we don't care about their kwikker feed...

on the same vein, we care about out twitter feed and that's just enough.
