Little Frances "Baby" Gump was 3 years old when she played the vaudeville palace that is now Butler's Department Store in Aitkin, Minnesota.

Shortly thereafter her family was run out of Minnesota. Daddy Gump had been caught molesting an underage boy.

Never mind! Lancaster, California (where the Gumps moved) was a lot closer to Hollywood. It wasn't very long before Baby was discovered!

In all other respects, Aitkin, Minnesota is an undistinguished and singularly charmless town.
