For the World Which Seems
May. 24th, 2024 07:50 amShortly I will be trotting off to the Hyde Park Food Pantry for my bimonthly alms-giving stint.
After that, if I can finish my self-imposed 2,000 word Remuneration minimum, I will drive up to Woodstock to see the Cheez-It pop-up (which features Cheez-it milkshakes and a jukebox operated by cramming Cheez-Its into its coin slot.)
And last night, I accepted a dinner invitation at Belinda’s.
So, I am trying to shake this Mood.
But the Mood persists.

The sky is blue.
The birds are singing.
But I still feel like it’s all one big Dover Beach.
And I have no one to be true with.
