garden

Wandered over to the garden yesterday to see what winter had wrought.

The bees are still slumbering:

I should start rototilling and composting my little plot some time during the next couple of weeks. And figuring out what I want to plant.

Not a whole lot to report other than that.

Today is the last day of this week’s intensive immersion in the Scut Factory. I am royally sick of writing about the differences between single-payer healthcare and Medicare for all, and since work blitzkriegs require solitude, I am starved for human companionship. But I am making plans to see My Favorite People in NYC this weekend so—as Max would say—It’s All Good.

I am also thinking of paying a large amount of money in September to pitch my novel in front of a group of agents and publishers. It seems to me that this is a far more efficient if more expensive process than writing innumerable cover letters to agents one at a time.

But, I don’t know.

Maybe I’m just a sucker.
