Don’t people realize that 2017 is bound to be a whole lot worse?

And I don’t believe that Debbie Reynolds’ last words were, “I want to be with Carrie,” although I do believe the shock of her daughter’s death killed her.

There’s no pain greater than the agony of losing your child. None.

People who have strokes that are massive enough to kill them, though, generally don’t have “last words” as such.

More likely Debbie’s last words were, “I have such a headache –“

I cried when I heard Debbie had died. Singing in the Rain. Tammy and the Bachelor – yes, yes, I saw it when I was six. It made an indelible impression.

Sad, you know? Just… sad.

And it’s going to snow.

This exaggerated sensationalism when the mildly famous die is strange. Perhaps some people need material for blog posts? I predict more fake news and deeper levels of self-indulgent bullsh*t in 2017!

After my wife died, my mother in law followed two months later. Debbie following Carrie wasn't a surprise. But it was very,very sad nonetheless. "Singin in the Rain" is one of my go to cheer up films. And ironically I had just watched Tammy about a month before - my sisters all adored that movie. FXX had it sandwiched in between two '60's surfer exploitation films - kudos to the programmers that day.
And another afternoon blown for me.
