Good Works Do Not Necessarily Produce Good Moods

Tax-Aide started yesterday.

I got a woman a $3000 refund merely by encouraging her to change her filing status and apply for EIC.

You know the faces of those people on that PBS roadside antique show when they discover that the weird wooden thing Granny’s been using to prop up the broken toilet is actually a priceless Revolutionary War relic worth $100,000? She kinda looked like that.

So, good work.

Notwithstanding which, I’m in a simply horrible mood today and have warned the cats to stay out of my way.
