Joan was sacrificed so that Betty White could live another year. That's my favorite mean joke. Aside from the people asking whether she's going to be buried or recycled.

Rivers herself may have been the first to make that recycled joke. I think hers had Tupperware in it. :-)

You know, I think the Joan Rivers documentary is presently on Netflix. It's funny and also touching. I think you'd like it.

I watched it about a year ago, it really was fantastic! I didn't know a lot about her history, so I learned a lot.
