Who cannot but LUV this latest from the National Weather Service's Hydrometeorological Prediction Center?

ONCE THE COMBINED GYRE MATERIALIZES, IT SHOULD SETTLE BACK TOWARD THE INTERIOR NORTHEAST THROUGH HALLOWEEN, INVITING PERHAPS A GHOULISH NICKNAME FOR THE CYCLONE ALONG THE LINES OF "FRANKENSTORM", AN ALLUSION TO MARY SHELLEY'S GOTHIC CREATURE OF SYNTHESIZED ELEMENTS...

When was the last time you saw the word "gyre" being used outside a William Butler Yeats poem, hmmmm?

I have a long list of stuff I really need to accomplish over the next week, so I gotta get started. Pity, that. I long to curl up on a window seat in a white room with a view of the ocean and follow the bread crumbs of my own thoughts to see where they lead…

I am thinking of you as you are thinking of me, my dear. And playing the What If…? game.

Love the bread crumb thoughts image. Part of me wants to worry about the weather, and part of me reminds the other part that ever since they screwed up by NOT predicting our devastating 2006 October storm, they whip us all into a weather frenzy every chance they get and then...nothing.

I guess time will tell on this one.

They do whip us up into weather frenzy, don't they? But this one... I dunno. The convergence of three storms really is an unusual weather event. Gas up yr generator. :-)
