I'm really pissed off by what's going on at the United Nations today.

My Inner Redneck wants the US to get the fuck out of the UN and to stop dropping billions of dollars in the beggars bowls of the Middle East.

So, from a political standpoint, what do you think we, as American voters, should be doing or looking for in the coming big election year? (asked with complete and utter sincerity)

So hard to know I voted for Obama and had hopes for him. He hasn't lived up to them. I'm not sure whether that's because I misread him completely or he just didn't have the political experience necessary to implement those hopes. I do know that whoever else ends up running -- and that includes Rick Perry and Sarah Palin, both of whom I dislike -- I will not vote for Obama again.

I also think it's insane to be giving billions of dollars to governments that are holding hands with terrorist groups that are bombing American embassies. Between 2002 and 2009, Pakistan received $20 billion from the US. As far as I know though no candidate has included "End Foreign Aid" in their political platforms. I think US foreign aid is a very 20th century idea whose time is over. If it's protection money, it ain't working; if it's humanitarian aid, it ain't getting to the people who need it.
