My Good News: I was wait listed for The Fellowship. That means if the $7.49 I’ve relegated towards Assassin Services in my yearly budget isn’t enough to hire a hit man to off the more successful candidates, I’d say I have an excellent chance of snagging the gold ring itself next year – much better timing given the fact that as Mom, my primary commitment must be to Robin and he really wants me to stay here till he finishes high school.

The Good News has had a rather odd paradoxical effect on me in that I have been completely unable to focus on anything for the last two days.

A vindication! Yes. Since my submissions were rewrites and spit polishes of the various angst fests you read here first. See, there’s a reason why I wallow in it. Sure, sure, part of that reason is that I have major boundary issues, I’m the angel who rushes in where fools fear to tread, etc. etc. But part of the reason is that I’m generating primary source material for other uses and for whatever reason, this is the method that works for me.

Woke up this morning to snow and howling winds. Three inches on the ground; another six inches projected to fall before sundown. Heaven’s crying because Elizabeth Taylor died, says misslam2u.
