Worse, he's now removed two possible points of attack against McCain-- age and temper.

Biden is no spring chicken and he's well known not only for his temper but his incurable foot-in-mouth disease.

This pick is a disaster-- especially once clips of Biden talking about Obama's inexperience (and how the presidency is no place for on-the-job training) start popping up in GOP ads.

This election has been Obama's to lose from the start. He's doing a good job of it so far.

You said "America in it's twilight....."

That's one of the memes that certain people want to instill in the population(to get power), appealing to their fears of the future and the unknown. It's interesting how these little things get spread around election time:) Frankly, I'm rather bullish on this country and could present a good deal of evidence disputing the "twilight of America." I'm really concerned with how much self loathing is out there, regarding our country. It is beyond my intelligence to figure out why many of our own citizens hate our country so much....and blame us for all the evil in the world.
