She'll be seen as part of a corrupt political establishment -- New York Democrats. The electorate paints with a broad brush.

Of course it also gives her a graceful out of a presidential campaign that she's losing. She can run for Governor when Spitzer resigns.

Meh, I'm not sure I'd consider Spitzer being horny a sign of the NY Democrat machine - s'not like he had any effect on her senatorship or vice versa - I'd consider it extremely poor judgement.

But I LOVE the Hillary for Governor angle!

Personally I wouldn't consider Spitzer's horniness or hypocrisy a sign of the NY Democratic machine either.

But it's not about what I think. Politics is all about guilt by association, no? That association would damn Clinton on two fronts -- Repubs with their creaky moral turpitude arguments & Obama with his "need for a change."

I doubt this will hurt Hillary at all. I am relieved to see a Democrat finally get caught with his pants off. I was wondering if it was only the conservative fundy Republicans who were getting lucky.
