The weather this year has been absolutely wacky.
Above image is Yesterday’s Dawn Viewed From My Bedroom Window.
Heavily Photoshopped. I do ❤️LUV❤️ my Photoshop!
But the red sky did not presage precipitation.
In fact, yesterday turned into a lovely if cloudy day, temps hitting the 50°s again—fifties! in January!—so I went tromping. Did the Walkway loop because it’s mindless and I can listen to podcasts and audiobooks and not have to think about where I’m putting my feet.

Today, we are scheduled for freezing rain and maybe even (ugh!) Hideous White Stuff.
There’s a mind-boggling number of items on the To-Do list, including making a grid to forward to the kinder, since we are doing a Zoom tonight to finalize plans for upcoming Guatemala trip. Let’s see…. Flight options…. Lodging options… Immunizations…. Trip insurance (more important for me than for them, I suppose, since I’m a septuagenarian and therefore more likely to need to be airlifted out for medical treatment.)
Before that, I should go food-shopping since there’s nothing in the house to eat except Cheerios and strawberry yogurt.
So, I had best get my sorry ass in gear.
Not that there’s anything wrong with Cheerios and strawberry yogurt.
