What Would I Want to Know If I Were You?
Dec. 8th, 2018 06:43 amIt’s only brain chemistry, of course, but I am filled with deep hatred for the entire human race, and most particularly, I am filled with deep hatred for people who are calling for radio bans on Baby, It’s Cold Out There on the grounds that the song promotes date rape.
This whole prudish culture is a tremendous fucking drag.
This need to bowdlerize the past. It’s so bourgeois. It reminds me of Victorians scuttling about to cover the naughty bits of Greek and Roman nude statues with bloomers and fig leafs.
It’s hard to get worked up about climate change when it’s perfectly clear that the best thing that could happen to the human race is extinction.

Yes, yes, seasonal affective disorder. Why get depressed when you can tap into invigorating rage? Depression is only the inability to feel anger anyway. Vitamin D and full-spectrum sunlamps can only do so much when it’s pitch black outside by 4:35pm.
If only there were some way to hibernate between now and, say, February when it won’t start getting dark until 5pm.
