D-Day

There was a Bulbosaur in my voting booth.

Really, really long lines at my polling place at 6 o’clock this morning. And cold: I could see my breath.

You wouldn’t necessarily know it from reading this LJ, but I generally tend to hold my own counsel in what we laughingly refer to as “real” life. There are very few people I’ll discuss politics with. The subject is just too freighted. Thus several casual acquaintances separately signed me up for something called “Pantsuit Nation,” a Facebook group devoted to Hillary Clinton hagiography.

Ick on a stick.

Shortly, I’m heading west to spend Election Night with my XHusband.

Won’t Nate Silver and his cronies be surprised when Gary Johnson is elected the 45th President of the United States!
