I live in a rural area, all old farms. The road I live on is busy, but the property itself is really large, & I think she's skittish enough to avoid the road. Not a lot of birds so I don't have to worry about her killing them. The deal is she won't come if I call her but she recognizes me when she sees me & doesn't run away. So I can let her out in the morning, & track her whereabouts in the afternoon and collect her if I need to.
