Yesterday’s word count: Just under 1,000.

I left off after falling down a rabbit hole for half an hour: Were there direct trains between Atlantic City and New York City in 1923? And, yes, it does matter.

Coming up next! Exciting scene where June and Florrie explore the premature baby zoos in Atlantic City! And June finds Florrie bleeding in a bathtub, drunk on cheap gin, with double-pointed knitting needles besides her.
