mallorys_cameraIt’s -7° out. MINUS SEVEN DEGREES! I don’t think I’ve ever been somewhere where it was -7° before, not even when I was lost in a blizzard in Yosemite for three days and had to be airlifted out by helicopter.
The Meezer is pissed because I won’t let her outside.

A million people gathered in Times Square to watch Mariah Carey lip-synch and the big New Years Eve ball come down. Tourists, of course. Nobody who lives here would put themselves through that. Locked in a police pen for 12 hours? No place to pee? Freezing cold? Half a day of intense boredom for maybe ten minutes of orgiastic release?
I don’t get it.
I’m not being judgmental here.
I’d sincerely like to understand: What’s the allure?
