Rule of Three

1. Back to the hideous office today. Ostensible supervisor wants to meet with us early in the morning. I must force myself to sit there glassy-eyed and unresponsive so as not rise to any kind of bait. (But how do you REALLY feel, Patrizia? I-feel-the-way-you-would-like-me-to-feel-BEEP)

2. I discovered fleece-lined tights! They're a marvelous invention. Though I'm still not sure what the difference is between tights and leggings.

3, I have an entertaining weekend planned going to movies, museums and Big Houses. An attractive gentleman has kindly offered to escort me to the Frick where the Carel Fabritius "Goldfinch" is on display and I may take him up on it though I'm equally interested in the Poison Exhibit at the Museum of Natural History.

I'll spend a more-or-less solitary Christmas, but immediately afterwards I'll be on a train to Philadelphia where I'll be visiting Dan and Connie for a few days. It dawns on me that Philly might be a good place to look for a replacement assignment too, so I'll do some searching and set up some appointments before I take off.

3. You should go to the Frick and tell me how it is and I will take you to the AMNH. I might even be talked into eating somewhere for lunch that's not Shake Shack.

Also, an acquaintance tells me the Dutch museum special exhibit at the Frick is horribly mobbed, even on weekdays, which is half of why I haven't gone.

I don't think we're gonna do the Dutch museum special exhibit because I'm pretty sure all we'd end up seeing is the back of people's heads. We're doing the Met -- there are a couple of exhibits Swwain 1 wants to see.

I'd love to see the poison exhibit with you -- if you'd be up for seeing it again. Let's make a date for January.
