Have a number of social escapades scheduled for next week so must tunnel down and tackle Revenue Goals for the next few days.

RTT got the Life Sciences Specialist job at Hidden Valley – which B had described as the "Science Director" job until I gently corrected him. ("Gee… RTT called it something else.")

I'm interviewing for a VISTA job next week coordinating a teen youth program. It's an excellent fit for my skill set: I'm extremely good working with adolescents and quite organized in employment situations. However, even if the position is offered to me, I can't possibly take it – it's so far away, there's no reasonable way I can get there even when my car is back up and running.

When I worked at ICM, I lived in Monterey. I worked from home a couple of days a week, drove up to the San Francisco office one or two days a week, and flew to the LA office one or two days a week. It was a lot of commuting. I'm not going to do that again.

Interviewing is good practice though.

If the job is something you really want and it pays decently, you might consider moving closer to the job.
