The Secret to Happiness

I ended up having a pretty good time last night. Not sure whether that's because there was really some sort of spark, or because diminished expectations really are the secret to happiness.

Ambivalent about doing it again, though. We both breathe oxygen. We both have opposable thumbs. I think that's about it for Things We Have In Common.

I'm having to brush both pusskers a lot because they're shedding. That and the crocuses sing, Spr-r-r-r-ring!.

The spark is always the most important thing. Diminished expectations are a sign of defeat, and you are nowhere near defeat.
