The good news is that I’m getting a huge tax return.

The bad news is that it probably won’t be here in time for me to pay all the bills that all come due on Feb 7th.

Must be some sort of work-around.

There are tax preparation companies that promise an "instant refund" if you let them prepare your taxes. I'm sure there's a fee of some kind, but it might be worth it.

Well, harumph. I vaguely remember reading somewhere that tax refunds are going to be issued extra slowly this year for some bureaucratic reason. Ugh.
