Other than that, a fairly unspectacular day.
I attempted to tromp but gave up after two miles because even though it was in the 40°s, the wind was blowing hard. I am not having fun, thought I.
On the aborted tromp, I listened to The Witch Trials of J.K. Rowling, which is absolutely excellent, particularly in explaining the oversized influence of such Internet niche subcultures as Tumblr and 4chan on the whole transgender and “self-identity” paradigm.
Then I came home and did loads and loads of Friends & Family tax returns. RTT talked my tax super-powers up to his posse, and one of them bit. This young man, a cyber-security analyst for Microsoft, has an incredibly complicated return with RSUs and ESPPs and carry-overs on previous years’ capital losses, so the whole thing has been time-consuming, to say the least, and I was only able to do the tiniest bit of Remuneration.
Why am I doing RTT’s friends’ tax returns?
Because he’s proud of me, and there seems to be little else I can do these days to show him I ❤️LUV❤️ him.

Also, I bought tickets to Rachel Bloom’s upcoming standup show in Philadelphia on June 8th.
Why Philadelphia?
Because tickets to the NYC show on June 6th were all sold out.
I attempted to entice BB to come with. BB actually an even bigger Rachel Bloom stan than I am, having watched all four seasons of Crazy Ex-Girlfriend.
(I only watched the first season. That was all I needed to get the schtick.)
But BB was having none of it.
So, now I am trying to entice Loraine. She has a sister in Philly that she can drive down to visit (with me in the car!) Once there, I can traipse around visiting the Barnes, viewing the fabulous murals, and avoiding the cheese steaks while she sisters.
Loraine and I could then meet back up for Rachel Bloom and drive home.
Problem is that Loraine is not a big fan of musicals.
I am pretty sure Rachel Bloom’s show is gonna consist of nothing but smutty feminism jokes, but Rachel Bloom did make her reputation with musical numbers:
Come to think of it, since she lives with Buff Ken, I’m not sure Loraine is a fan of smutty feminism either. 😥
