Clinton won California by a far larger majority than the polls predicted. I think the Sanders narrative – The SYSTEM is rigged against me! – does not play well. It certainly does not play well with me, and I’m someone who’s in almost perfect agreement with his message that the only really important fight is the fight against big money.
Anyone with the option to live to fight again another day would have exercised it by now.
I suppose that means Sanders understands he doesn’t have that option.

Trump’s main talking points are the folly of international trade agreements (like NAFTA) and racial resentment/xenophobia. The two are not synonymous even if both sides want you to think they are.
But one can see international trade agreements as deeply destructive instruments and still believe in open immigration, civil rights, and putting an end to racial profiling. I do!
NAFTA was the nail in the coffin of American manufacturing. HRC is on record as a strong proponent of international trade agreements. In fact, she's a strong proponent of the one percenter economic agenda in every respect.
The question is whether opposing international trade agreements trumps – ha, ha, ha – the racism and sexism and general White Guys Uber Alles-ism that would otherwise characterize a Trump administration.
Of course, Trump has benefited plenty on a personal level from outsourcing where the labor is cheap, so the squawk is not the walk there, and his elephant trumpeting -- ha, ha, ha -- from podiums throughout the land doubtless falls under the category of I'll tell the stupid fucks whatever it takes to get elected.
I’m currently obsessed with the Duval twins who perpetrated scams, drove matching Porsches, and owned yoga studios in Palm Beach, Florida before doing a Thelma-and-Louise off a Maui cliff. The survivor (Alexandria) is being charged with murdering her sister (Anastasia).

And in exciting Scut Factory News, one client wants me to write promo blurbs for luxury yachts while another wants me to structure a hypothetical distribution chain for introducing a Gatorade-like beverage into – ulp – Iran. These are the types of projects that should be commanding Big Buck$ but that since they’re being commandeered through the Scut Factory will net me next to nothing.
This is mildly frustrating, but I simply do not have the stamina to market myself more aggressively.
