Feeling nauseated and headachy this morning. Bad night's sleep – it was very hot and Nancy had taken us out to dinner at an expensive restaurant for my birthday, which was lovely of her (of course) except that I did not particularly want to go, I haven't been eating a lot lately.
Spent yesterday being profoundly bored at a horse show. That meant that that Chapter 2 completion had to be put on hold, and of course now I'm afraid that I've lost the rhythm completely – really need a kind of John Sandford Mortal Prey bang-bang-bang for the police swarm scenes.
Nancy also suggests that I borrow even for the down payment on the bookstore – "Banks are desperate for customers right now and interest rates are low." And I think she's right. Must finish the business plan this week and start shopping it.
