This is basically a writing diary where I write all kinds of stuff that will be immensely boring to anyone who stumbles across it.

So you should go back to Facebook.

Don't be so gloomy. After all it's not that awful. Like the fella says, in Italy for 30 years under the Borgias they had warfare, terror, murder, and bloodshed, but they produced Michelangelo, Leonardo da Vinci, and the Renaissance. In Switzerland they had brotherly love - they had 500 years of democracy and peace, and what did that produce? The cuckoo clock. So long Holly. ---- Harry Lime

"Friends" is a dumb word for this context, isn't it? Plus trust me, you're not missing much. But I'm happy to add you.

Gotta ask -- however did you start reading my obscure little LJ two years ago? Do you mind telling me? Do we know each other?

I WISH we knew each other! I've told you before in one of those anonymous comments that you are my pretend aunt. It's the best age appropriate family placement I could think of without slighting my mom. First runner up.

I was just trying to remember how I found your journal. Pretty sure it was one of those click click- what am I even looking for on the internet- click click clicks. It was definitely love at first read though. I started reading when you were at the little store. I read everything before that and starting reading everything after religiously.

There are less than a dozen websites that I read daily. Your live journal is on that list. I guess I like obscurity but really it's like, "wow someone thinks like me but lives so different and writes so well" or something like that. Definitely admiration, even when you are self depreciating. This is getting long. Thank you.

I remember being someone telling I was their pretend aunt! That's why it's good to have an actual ID -- it's easier to track the narrative arc.
