I think it was maybe 2 years ago that there was a storm system that started out as rain, then turned to snow. That left a 2-inch layer of ice on everything, under the snow. That was when I learned about the existence of ice choppers. We still don't own one yet, but we should own one, so it looks like we might go on a shopping trip to get one this upcoming weekend.
